FAQ
-Do you just write kids books?
I've written and contributed to dozens of publications. I've spent years writing about disability issues, and addressing topics on the forefront such as the connection between diet and sleep, concussions, and accessible travel, and learning differences.
Stay Where I Can See You is my first children's book.
- How to buy your book?
My book is available for sale on Amazon.com and other popular book stores. Contact them directly to see if they currently have it on their shelves.
- How can we request a visit by the author to our school, community, or organization?
I'm an author who loves writing new stories, and I also love visiting children to read and conduct literacy workshops. When I'm not busy writing, there's a possibility I may be able to schedule a visit to your school or organization.
-Where did the idea for Stay Where I Can See You come from?
I was walking on the beach with my son one summer day six years ago. When my toe grazed a clump of seaweed, tiny turtles emerged, spinning in circles. At first, it seemed amusing, but as the tiny creatures began scattering quickly in all directions, I immediately sensed the danger to these vulnerable creatures, each the size of a nickel. Children came running to get a better look, and as the seagulls approached, I had no idea I would someday be inspired to write Stay Where I Can See You.
